Step1.

T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to see you again. Today, we are going to learn Unit7 A busy day. （忙碌的一天）

T: Look, I have a clock here. What time is it? Do you know?

T: Yes, it’s six thirty. We can also say, ‘It’s half past eight.’ (half, past, half past eight )

Now, look at this clock. What time is it? Yes, it’s half past one.

How about this one? What time is it? Good! It’s half past nine. 你都说对了吗？

T: Now, look at this clock. Is it half past five? No, it’s a quarter past five. (quarter)

Now, look at this clock. 这是一只只有分针，没有时针的钟，你能猜出几点了吗？It’s a quarter past ____. (播放钟走的声音) Now, look! Oh, it’s a quarter past two. 你猜对了吗？

再来猜猜这只钟，What time is it? It’s a quarter past ____. (播放钟走的声音) Now, look! Oh, it’s a quarter past seven. 你猜对了吗？

在这里，钟面上显示的是10:45，也就是说到下一个整点11:00还差一刻钟，so, we say ‘a quarter to eleven’. 请同学们一定要注意，是到下一个整点还差几分。下面老师来考考你，看哪个同学反应最快。
